Ok, so once in a while when I close a project but I do not exit Sonar, I get a very disturbing error:

The project looks like it isn't closing and "Sample Rate Conversion" flashes a number of times rapidly in the Transport display then I get a "runtime error" and Sonar crashes.

I have seen this error before at least three times, but it doesn't seem to occur for any particular reason.  I am disturbed by the error as it sounds to me like it could be corrupting my project!

Has anyone else had this happen?

Never saw that, but it sounds like the sample rate you have your project set to is not matching the sample rate your sound card is set to ... if I were to take an uneducated guess.

Hey Bub,

Thanks for the input, but I don't think that is the case.  I use 48Khz for my sample rate in all my projects and I don't ever change it.

Dude Ivey
Ive seen that message when i imported a song to mix that was sampled at 48Khz and i have sonar x-2 set at 44.1Khz cause thats as high as my interface will go. Did u accidently change a setting in sonar?
