Can someone please confirm ... 

I get fatal crashes everytime I mess with NUDGE (keypad 7 and 9). 

First of all, they don't work
if I go to the keyboard bindings menu.. and "re-assign" them to nudge 3 values, it does not work either, 
pressing 7-9 crashes sonar .. 

I use Sonar X2a, studio. 32 bit,

Anyone seen this, or can reproduce this ?

I'm using sonar X2a 32 bit
On my laptop I have to turn on Num Lock
I select the clip to nudge and it works as expected.

Yes I know about numlock, as I have 1-3 assigned to previous-next measure, and 4-6 assigned to previous-next marker, 
and both of them works just fine all the time (can't live without these..)

it's only the nudge thing .. I'm soo used to have those, now I hit the keys by habit, and it crashes Sonar instantly ... a few times a day .. quite annoying if you ask me :)

That is annoying. I’m sure some others will post shortly and might have more to offer. Hope you get it figured out.

In the meantime please update your sound interface device drivers and firmware to see if it makes a difference. Thanks.

have you tried opening a new project and trying it there as well?
id also try onpening your project in safe mode (hold down CONTR.while opening your project.

i might also create a dummy midi file/audio file just for testing purposes.
try nudging this dummy file.
 
it could be a vst,a synth your using.
or possible something corrupt in the project got saved.

try disabling all vsts and synths first.. then try to nudge.

Meanwhile I've been digging further, I have another computer that I use my same X2 on, and the nudge works ! 

on the projects that I have problems on, I only have TTS1 loaded, so I doubt that VST's would be the problem, but I'll try on another blank project tomorrow, just to make sure. 

I will also check for soundcard update, just to make sure, but since nudge works on my X1 installed right beside X2, I would tend to think it's not the problem, though it never harms to check for updates ! Thanks for the suggestion ! 

I begin to think that something is wrong either in my sonar config files, is there any way to reset this without re-installing ALL of sonar ? (which takes more than forever) ... 

Any chance that I have this problem since I "imported" my settings, and keybindings from my X1 installation ?

Please note just because it works on X1 but not X2  does not mean you can rule out drivers or firmware as the issue. Cheers.

I don't think it will help but it is here.

Edit/Preferences/Audio/Configuration File/Reset Config To Defaults
