Has anyone purchased any of these and are able to activate? I assumed that I had to wait for the boxes through the mail, but was told that I could just install the installation center, sync my ilok, and I could install. I've tried syncing my ilok several times today, and still no EW licenses.

Yes & Yes. You have to register the libraries first and the registration codes are in the boxes.
Once you register the libraries, if it's one of the items listed here:
http://www.soundsonline.com/Downloadable-Products
you can download from the web.
 
Some libraries like the platinum versions are not currently downloadable.
That will probably change once they finish going green - but right now no...
 
So unfortunately you're going to have to wait till you have the physical product before you have the ability to download the install sets.

Thanks for the heads up. After the sale, I was sent to a page that told me that I could activate and install by using the Installation Center and given a video on showing me how to do it. Just a glitch in their system I guess. I had the subscription, but didn't find myself using much except the EWQL Orchestra and the Symphonic Choir. Able to pick up the Platinum Plus and the Choir for less than a year's subscription, so it's a good deal for me. Play can be a headache, but I love the fact that I can have an orchestra, and to me a great sounding one, in my computer. It's what I always wanted back in the day, but never thought possible. I'm still awed by the capabilities we've been given.

So did they send you the registration codes via email?
When I had stuff shipped from the European Amazon sale I got nothing but a sales confirmation and had to wait 20 days for it to arrive.

No. They haven't sent me anything. According to tech support, there was a phase where the codes were removed from the box and you had to download and register. These boxes are supposed to have the codes in them, so register the codes with the Installation Center, and install with the discs. I made my purchase six days ago, but no word on shipping or a tracking number. Support said that I would receive an email when that happens.

If you placed an order with Soundsonline you will find your tracking number in your account. Go to your account and click on "See Orders". There you will see your tracking number. I placed my order on May 17th and still have not received an email, but my tracking number in my account shows that my order has been shipped. Hope this is the same with your order.
 
Click on "Document Number", and scroll down you sales page. There again is the tracking that you can click on to see if it has been shipped.
