IMO, her live performances are much, much better than the studio version.......she sings with more emotion live.
 

 

Tbh her music doesn't do a lot for me but she seems like a pretty fun person, my girlfriend made me watch a segment she did on the Ellen show (because I wouldn't admit to watching the Ellen show of my own accord )where she pranked a Jamba juice by going in with her "assistant" and making all sorts of bizarre requests as piped through her earpiece from Ellen in the studio. It was a good laugh:

A blatant Letterman rip off idea. Only he was smart enough to use a "nobody", IMO.

I had to stop looking at those videos, I kept staring at her eyelashes... 
 
She reminds me of one of those opera singers that's usually dressed as a viking, but is just doing this on her "off" night. 

Funny isn't it, I cannot stand her voice. There's something about the way she pronounces certain words that makes me cringe, and it's all so...shouty...

Watched it on TV and quite enjoyed it but I thought she went on a bit too much between songs.

Cant stand her voice either, to me it sounds like a distressed cow, I am not sure why as its been a while since I had anything to do with farms, I did made the mistake of telling my sister inlaw and niece this at last christmas, and was lucky to escape without personal injury as she is huge fan.  For me listening to her voice is definitely not a pleasant experience, though is not as bad as chalk screeching on a chalk board, it does put me on edge a little.
 
I had not thought about it being shouty, but that might be part of it..
