After I bought EZ Player Pro I received an email to download a free sample pack through something called Connect. I down loaded it. Now I have to figure out where it goes so I can use it

Howdy Doody Mr. Bill!!

Yeah, that must've been something Time & Space offered with that purchase. Since this is mainly for Midi, is that 2GB pack all MIDI files or some other format???

Just saw your link.....don't know how I missed finding it last night....most peculiar mama.

I see that they're WAV format...

I unzipped it and put it on desktop but haven't done anything with it. I still have to figure out how to use EZ Player

I'm thinking these are a collection of Construction Kits to build a song. Since they're WAV files, I'm guessing they would go in the Cakewalk Content folder.

From just looking at the user reviews, it looks like these are just WAV samples for anyone to use and doesn't seem to have anything to do with EZPlayer Pro (being a Midi organizer and all....)

I see that now! I've decided to build my next song using EZplayer Pro. I want to see if I can create drum parts that are "Lifelike and spontaneous". Unlike me  I have to poke myself with a stick sometimes to see if

I have to say, Jamstix is my absolute favorite go-to for programming drums. Once you get into the song layout and "brain" editing in depth you can get some incredible results, the sort of beats I would have never achieved in a piano roll or live playing. I even use it for electronica drums by hooking it up to Battery or Geist...right now I'm programming some insane Aphex Twin style craziness which changes time sigs every measure...3/4 then 4/4 then 3/4 then 5/4 then 6/4 etc...and with Jamstix I'm even changing playing styles with every measure....here a breakbeat, there a march with snare rolls....here straight eights, there a swing feel. And then adding fills on certain measures and tweaking those in all kinds of interesting ways. Not to mention changing the drummer model from measure to measure, so certain measures have bang on timing while others are behind the beat and others ahead of the beat. You wouldn't want this kind of craziness in a straight ahead C&W number of course but for insanely complex mayhem nothing "beats" it (heh heh).

Sounds cool! I guess..... Where can I hear a few of your Examples of doing all this? That was a rather long post. Just wonder if you aren't working for that company and posting here as a PROMO?
