hey all I am posting this on the image-line forum as well. but i get this error when trying to use the vsti version of FL Studio "An error occoured in the processing of FL Studio" when I try and render. has anybody else run into this. ive tried to use jBridge with no success. it only happens on render and the plugin stops working all together afterwords. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnnK7r_rX7I

Hmm I would think Fruity loops needs to be rewired no?

  no I prefer the vsti version of fruity. when you rewire, you have to save the FLP as well as the CWP as two seperate files. then when you want to load the project you have to open the CWP then open rewire FL then open the FLP... really really backwards... I only want to use the step sequencer in FL because the one in sonar is nothing even close to what FL has.

Didn't have time to watch your full video, but I did notice that you are trying a different approach to rendering than the one I have found. Before you can export audio, you need to have the audio version of the  FL Studio track. I do this by using Bounce to Track with the Audible Bounce option checked.

Hope I haven't missed something by not watching the complete video

i am using fl studio as a vsti. therefore i should be able to render my project just as i can with any vsti. this has worked before. I'm not exactly sure where it went wrong but i think it was either the C or expanded update...

I'm using it as a vsti also.  Maybe I'm using it differently to you, but when I use it, I end up with FL Studio  tracks in Sonar that have no data in - the  data's in FL, so without a bounce, Sonar doesn't appear to have data to work on during an export. I haven't noticed a change recently, but would love to know of a more straightforward way of getting FL tracks to be present in an exported audio file.

no no. you don't need to bounce the tracks. I know there is nothing in the lanes in sonar., but if you fill the playlist and put fl studio in song mode it should export the playlist in fl just as it would any vsti with a step sequencer.

or if you put sessiondrummer on full auto with no clips it also works the same way.

Hey Elijahlucian, Did you ever have any luck with this? I'm experiencing the same issue with Sonar X2 Producer. Everytime I try to export, FL Studio throws the same error you were receiving. I'm also using FL as a VSTi. Thanks!!

hey man. no i haven't figured this out. i am starting to think that there is no solution. i tried jbridge and everything. 

no luck. I guess FL doesn't play nice... also i have compatability issues with most of IL plugins too. 

the problem is that when i tell CW about the problem, they say it's IL's fault. and i ask IL about it, and they blame it on CW ...

it sucks. the two together would pretty much be the perfect combo.

I have the latest beta (10.9?), and it works. (kind of... well not really ... !)

Sorry I haven't seen the video, it's been taken out.. 

While I don't have error messages like the one you describe, I have lots of problems like: 

- slow graphics redraw (mixer meters actually stop working, as well as PEQ2 spectrogram)
- when I bounce, timing really jitters, sounds like a drummer after 40oz of Jack.. useless.. 

I found out it seems to work better with Sonar 32 bit, than bitbridged (bitbridge is lame for 32 bit instruments, it adds some latency, that is not corrected on sonar, so everything is sloppy)

I wanted to get to the bottom of this problem last week, and installed lots of demos of other DAWS .. 
Reaper and Cubase were working perfectly with FL as VSTi. 

I don't want to change DAW, but that convinced me enough that problem is on cake's side, 
I've filled bug reports months ago, and go no follow-up. Sadly, FL as Vsti in Sonar is no longer a viable option, 

Maybe once FL gets 64 bit, with rewire 64 . and no more bitbridging.. things will get better hopefully...
