  • Still unresolved: How do you minimize all the take lanes on all the tracks at once?

I thought if you crtl-A and then hit the take lanes icon it would minimize them all. But it doesn't. If I hit F to fit all tracks, the lanes are still there.

Is there a simple answer I have overlooked? Would appreciate any response...

Hold Ctrl while clicking the Take Lanes button.

Ctrl+clicking Take Lanes button toggles selected lanes. Currently there is no command to expand/collapse lanes.

Unless all the tracks are selected 1st. Then you can do as garrigus said.

So:
1st hit ctrl+A
2nd hold ctrl
3rd click a Take Lane button

Works to expand and collapse.

It's just another Quick Groups function and works the same as with other Quick Group situations. If no tracks are selected then all tracks are affected. Otherwise, only selected tracks are affected.

Trust me, it works.

Weird...the suggested solution does not work on my computer. At all.

Any other ideas?

Well, in general it's supposed to work that way but now I'm getting some sporatic results from it.

Some will open while others will not and vise versa.

There is definitely a bug here.
