Well, you see I see the exact opposite of what you are saying.

The handful are the folks who claim crashes every 20 minutes. I went thru the forum more than once to investigate this. And it was the SAME 10-15% of people talking about totally unusable-completely unstable.
You didn't really just say 10-15% did you? Yeah, you did. LOL! Well, at least you didn't say 20-40%.
I said I use mostly midi. I do record 4 to 5 vocal tracks and 10-15 electric and accoustic guitars live and direct_ and a few basslines using my midi controller. So about 30 audio tracks recorded per project. 30-40 midi tracks per project (mostly drum tracks there.
Ok, I'm calling bull-poop again. A giant steaming pile of it, maybe even one giant pile from multiple members of the same heard that the entire community likes to roll around in. Now you are coming back after saying you only use midi, and adding in, "Oh yeah, well ... my projects are 60 tracks long with half of it audio." What a crock of CRAP man! And you wonder why some of us see right through you and call you out.

Not even going to respond to the rest of your post. It's all crap and you know it.

Like I said, it's good to see you. Hope all is well.

Bub, where did he say he only uses midi?

What he actually wrote was -- "I am big into midi and softsynths-many at one time. I have lots of plugs but all well known and no freebies".

"Big into midi" doesn't translate as "exclusively midi"...

Man, you didn't even bother to go back and check what he said before practically calling him a liar...

And yeah, your "Good to see you to.  Hope all is well" signoff makes it all okay.
Hey, I can only handle one argument at a time. I'm getting too old for all of this!

It's good to see you JonD ... and I was sincere about saying it was good to see Stratman70.

I've been laying down some tracks while checking out the forum here since I created that User Account and adjusted the settings. I have to say, everything is much more responsive in Sonar. It really helped a lot. Thanks to you Alex and Sharke.

21-31% on the plus side now?

Hey Bub

Come on now-If I say something, I mean it. I ave no reason to make stuff up-Sad that you think that way.

Everybodies lying-Right. Grow up Bub, your better than that.

I an old Rocker-19 months in the jungle in Viet nam-I don't need to make up ****.  My lifes too real for that.

You are way out of line Bub-really. Sad, really sad that you see conspiracies all round you.

No personal grudge I just wish you would take a grown mans post as the truth-Ain't no reason to lie.

What the hell for-Jeeezz man. Have a little faith now and then. If I say it, I mean it and it happened-nuff said Buddy.

Hope someday you realize how often you have pretty much called me and others liars.

Lie about a piece of software-Not mad, but extremely disappointed.

Hey JonD-

He Just doesn't get it-I'll make it a bit plainer. I sequence (MIDI) all my keyboards, drums and bass using softsynths and my midi controller.

I play USA Strats-have 3 or for USA Deluxes. I have an old Takamine Accoustic that I love. I also lay vocal track over my own lead vocals-yup many., many AUDIO TRACKS. I use an AXEFXII to play thru for all my guitar work and a Studio Projects C1 for my many vocal tracks.

It's a shame that some of us are grown ups and actually take a man at his word and some aren't. Like high school here with the very same classmates-scarey

What happened, Bub?

Years ago I said Bub was a "Glass is half empty" kind of guy. It doesn't matter who is having great performance with X2, Bub imagines a conspiracy where people have nothing better to do than to fabricate stories about how great it is. Bub you're delusional. Sonar works great here and for many others.  (ya i know it's bull crap). I thought you had finally had enough and moved on to Reaper. Let me guess that's not working for you either.
As Stratman suggested if any DAW were giving me the trouble you have been having with Sonar I would have moved on long ago. That's why I am calling "bull crap". I think you just enjoy creating a stir.

I remember when the first incarnation of X1 came out and how the forum became divided into two alienated camps...one had things work 100% and the other alienated camp that had nothing work. And both were duking it out with each other...

Meanwhile...some of us were sitting around saying things like....

"In the war of words between the bashers and the fanbois can there be a little space for others who like what we see here and just want some improvements?"

Seems like it is time for this again.

I'm sorting of getting Bub's humour. I'm not 100% sure people should take him so literally. I think he knows a lot of what he is saying is OTT and wishful thinking... Guess it's easier as an observer here rather than post as the target (as I often put myself in ;).

I have tried to talk to Bub several times, and he has either replied with abuse, or insinuated that I was at fault.

Have a look for yourselves,

The whole paranoid/conspiracy thing is very telling.

I know Sonar is not working for everyone.  With some advice from here most people can sort it out.

A few people - McQ, Bub etc seem to hold a grudge and post long after they should have moved on.

I've had problems with Sonar, but they have usually turned out to be user error, or hardware error.

Constant fights with the likes of Bub and McQ have made me feel less like posting on here.  I usually only post now to help people who genuinely are asking for help.  I think it is probably time to leave, although I have learnt a lot from here.

Today I buried my fifteen year old Niece, and it put a lot of this $**t in to perspective.

Bub, don't accuse other people of BS just because your experience is different.

I know that my DAW runs okay.  I am not a liar.

I know you, and your ilk.
