And yet another function I wasn't sure about. Highly educational thread. Cheers, man.

You can use any Pentagon patch except the ones cause the synth the blow up. I believe there are a few other patches that act up in addition to the valley simulator ones.

Cool. They really should make a list of the bad patches. Those crashes are nasty.

The Ring Modulator in Melda's Free software bundle that will do this if you're looking for something easy to throw on a track that doesn't use up a lot of resources.

BTW, the license for MeldaProductions Free bundle is $27US for the month of February (yes the license fee is optional, the product is free)

I'm doing it. $27 bucks is just a no brainer. And they just released an update for it.

They also have a new Dynamic EQ I'm looking at. But it's expensive on it's own, you're much better off buying the Mastering Bundle.

Their products work so well and sound great. I'm afraid one day they are going to get too well known, and start raising their prices.

Anyway, I don't want to hi-jack here.

Back on topic, there's a couple of VST's in that bundle that will do this. It's truly amazing that it's all free, 64-bit, and VST3.

Sorry Beep gotta take over for one more post. The MeldaProduction Free bundle is a good buy at retail but $27 is a steal. The license does not buy you much but the ability to resize the GUI was essential to me. I am waiting for the next major sale before scooping up one of the other bundles. Right now they are running 25% off all bundles through the end of the month. I believe they will offer a deeper discount at the end of the year.

Oh you know me, bub. I don't care about conversations trailing off in other directions. Not sure about third party stuff. Makes me nervous as you know. I'm hoping something I'm working towards will go through so I have a bit more cash kicking around for gear. I need to buy a couple drives so I can do proper system images. Then I'll get a little more adventurous with what I install on this system. I think a lot of luck I've been having as far as actual stability is due to how much I coddle it. The only third party stuff I have on it is GR5, BFD Eco and some Platinum Samples stuff. Everything else is Cake.

Probably being paranoid but as I said... I need some drives. I'll run out of space on my installed E drive very quickly if I keep tossing images on there.

I'll definitely keep an eye on that Melda stuff for future exploration. Cheers.
