Just had my first strange occurrence with-in X2, being new to using a DAW I'm not sure if there's a problem with sonar or my system. So far I have two guitar tracks using amplitude, a bass track using pod farm and a track for ezdrummer. The guitar tracks and drum track are fine on the console but the bass track shows the sound level when the bass is being played but on play back I can hear the bass but there is no sound level showing. I tried muting the track and inserting another bass track and re-recorded but the same has happened. However I had to stop as I had to go teach karate this evening and have came back opened my laptop up and now the sound level is showing in the console. Is this a bug or just a random glitch?

The meter won't show the level while the track is armed for recording. Sounds like what might be happening. Tripped me up at first too.

I'm not fully following you Dangars. To see audio level in a track via the meters you need to have one of the following. There is audio in the track for playback. The track is armed for recording and audio is coming in. You are recording audio into that track.
