Often when opening an older 32 bit project using Dinension LE, the samples will be missing.
 
 
When I reload the samples I get no sound from Dim LE.
 
 
Dim LE seems to disconnect from the MIDI track even though the SOLO button still lights up when soloing the MIDI track.
 
 
This happens more times than I can count and I usually have to delete the Dim LE and load in a new one.
 
 
Why does this happen and is there a way to avoid having to delete it?

ive had similiar issues and running as admin has made them go poof !

There was a dimension pro/le update that changed dimension to VST only and older projects may have a dxi dimension in it. Could that be the problem?

It is listed under both so I must have updated.

Couldn't say if the projects were made before the update or not but I guess I'll have to just go thru all of them and reload Dim LE as a VSTi.

I assume the 1st Dim LE listing is the DXi as the other one is under Vstplugins.

The DXi will not have the VST dropdown at the top of the GUI.

AH! Very good then. I see they are all DXi's.

I don't know if this would work but could you re-install Dimension LE from disk, essentially rolling back the update?

I think the trouble begain when I moved to 64 bit on a 64 bit system. Apparently 64 bit don't likey DXi's as the StudioVerb also doesn't work here.

These projects will open fine on my 32 bit system but to make them useable on both systems it's probably best to just switch everything to VSTi's.
