This forum works, but I can't connect to Cakewalk's main site either.

Me too.  Also, Cakewalk.com is down.

I just successfully connected, but the response time was incredibly sluggish.  It took forever to validate the connection, and I let the wheel spin about 20 times while it was checking the Big Fish loops, before I exited.  My guess is that it is currently getting quite the workout :)

My first response was about connecting to the Command Center.  I just successfully connected to cakewalk.com, as well.

OK.  10,000 people are downloading their stuff probably.

Just be patient.  Took several attempts to get connected to the server. Once I finally connected, took about 15 minutes to check for and install updates.  But, it finally resolved and I updated SPLAT.
 

From the server's point of view, this must be looking like a denial of service attack.  I ran the Command Center about two weeks ago, and the whole thing was done in about five minutes.

Yeah everything is running slow. I'll bet these forums will be down by Monday
