When you add Melodyne to a vocal track and make corrections, how do you make that permanent! So you can remove the plug?

[<font]Bounce it to a new track. Keep the old one so you can always go back to the original.

Greeting fakers

I tend to greet fakers with an insincere handshake while lying through my teeth that I am delighted to meet them.

I think that is what they expect, and they surely deserve no less.

It means that he's a lying troll and should be attacked!  Or... that using Melodyne is a from of faking.

I freeze the track (like a bounce) and move the frozen track to a new track. Unfreeze the original track and turn off/disable Melodyne until I know I have it right. Then I delete the original track.

Greeting fakers?

Are you saying that the Wal-Mart greeters are really not old people?

I just started using melodyne. I uncheck all the Fx except melodyne, highlight all the clips in the track that have been melodyned and then Process --> Apply Audio Effects (uncheck the "delete the effect from track effects bin" option) and do it in place. I then delete the melodyne plugin.

Since you should keep the copy of the unprocessed track around, bouncing to a new track is another good way.
