im editing this rediculesly long solo.
i want to skip over more than half of it.
do i need to cut that peice out or is threre a way to make the timeline skip over that part? .. (jump over the parts i dont want?)

in other words, solo starts at measure 36- and ends at measure 56.
i want to start the solo at 36 as normal but end it at 46.
so in essence remove 46-56 but i dont want to cut that out,i want to just jump over it.

thanks

You have to remove it. There's no way to create a custom playback like you're asking about.

That would definitely be a nice feature though.

Don't know for sure what you're doing with your edits but you could put some Markers in to help skip to where you want to go quickly and you could possibly loop just the measures that you are editing. Kind regards, Rick

Using Markers can do this.  When you get m 36 hit next marker that is at 56.
