Another small change just to make the HPF & LPF slopes display correctly is to change the figures in the relative lines as follows. This is example is for the HPF Slope

Change

M2VPot4=26,spread,0.2,0.1        ; HPF Slope

To

M2VPot4=26,spread,0.143,0.142855        ; HPF Slope

This will allow the display to update correctly both up and down the scale and when the V-Pot is pressed the slope will default to 12 and display correctly.

Remember you'll need to do both the Track EQ and Buss EQ listings. I have updated the original post to incorporate both these changes and also those suggested by Freex.

EDIT: I of course mean you'll need to change those figures for every instance of the HPF & LPF slopes. If unsure see the #1 which has now been updated.

Yeah I like Vpot24 set to 0.5 as it's Push to centre (vintage) then, left(pure) or right(modern), with no need to be exact

Haven't had any luck with the comp or tube but I have a feeling ( I think I read somewhere) this is down to X1's programming not releasing the controls, maybe X1b will sort that one out.

Nice job again on the update,

I've also switched

VPot20=22,freq,0.84            ; LPF Freq
VPot21=23,spread,0.143,0.142855        ; LPF Slope

around to

VPot20=23,spread,0.143,0.142855        ; LPF Slope
VPot21=22,freq,0.84            ; LPF Freq

Just to make it flow with the GUI, but that's more presonal taste than function.

Yeah that's the great thing about the ini file. Being able to set it up how you want it.

Now if they just sort out the compressor and tube sat.......... plus the few odd function key presses that have gone a bit awry........

Did you edit the changes into the first post or should we do them ourselves. Awesome work

Hey sdpate, FBB updated the post so it's just a copy and paste job.

Apart from the last tweak I did to make the knobs match with the GUI.

VPot20=22,freq,0.84 ; LPF Freq
VPot21=23,spread,0.143,0.142855
; LPF Slope

around to

VPot20=23,spread,0.143,0.142855
; LPF Slope
VPot21=22,freq,0.84 ; LPF Freq

But that ones more just horses for courses than anything else.

If only CW would update the dll to allow Comp and Tube control, I think we'd all be tra-la-la-ing about our day.

Yep as Freex said first post is updated except for the change he mentioned which is a personal thing, much like the rest of it really.

+100000000000000000000 to your dll comment Freex

I'm also really hoping CW sort out the rest of it, makes the Prochannel a disappointment ATM. Using mice is soooooo last century.

Thanks for all efforts on this BCF2000 stuff guys. Much appreciated.

 After putting my new beast together (See below for new specs) I am up and running and slowly getting my system up to speed. decided on 64bit

 I have added your code to the Macie control .ini file (thanks FBB) but I have an issue:

 Basically the rotaries work fine for the first 2 EQ sets of control on the PC but when I go into 'edit mode' and press preset > (i assume this is the correct thing to do to move to the next two controls for the PC EQ, the rotaries do not work as the first two.

 The smallest turn is turning the knob on the PC is turning it full or min.  Almost making it like a switch on-off. If I hold down the D button on my BCF (as per FBB button nomenclature ) it does slow it down a bit but still not right.

 Also sometimes moving the rotaries on the BCF in the EQ edit mode will start playback in SOnar and other glitchy things...

 Any ideas?

Is it all of the controls? There is a way to reduce the step size but if you've copied and pasted the file from #1 above they should be the same for all of them.

I'm not quite sure I'm following you correctly either. When you say the "next two controls for the PC" do you mean the next 2 parameters or banks of controls?

I no longer use a BCF, but I do have an MCU and the behaviour should be the same.

Thanks again FBB (As always ;)

 Sorry if I have not made it clear.

Basically on my BCF in PC mode (Plugin on BCF) the first 8 rotaries control the first two parameters of the Pro Channel.

 To control the 2nd 2 parameters, I put teh bcf2000 into edit-mode and press [Bank>] to move to the next two parameters of the PC.

 At this point the rotaries not have the same effect on the PC as they did on the first 2. It goes haywire. The parameters (Q, Freq etc) do not move smoothly, transport starts playing back etc.

 I'mgonna try re-installing the driver for BCF2000.

 do you reccommend anything else.

 stepping up to 64 bit seems to be causing me some issues, I just hope this is not another...
