Found it. Midi channel is set at the drop down list - right under the FX box.

This should be simple, yet I'm unable to figure out for a long time.. but now wanted to use it..

I'm setting up Cakewalk TTS - for percussion sound.

TTS can open up to 16 sound (currently I only need 3 channel - all drums/percussion). After opening it as simple instrument, I can insert additional midi track to send midi to TTS - and I wanted different midi channel for each track, so I can control addition volume / pan.
