I'll post the song by itself shortly, but I posted the video on the "SAMSARA" facebook page (The same people who made "BARAKA" and told them I wanted to use it on my SoundTraxx website they "Liked" the idea so I ran with it! -Shawn

OK, to help clear up some confusion between what I produced and the makers of "BARAKA" produced here is a soundcloud link to the raw original .mp3 "=of my song - "RITUAL".  Before I wrote that song I spent a friday day and eveneing at a house in Minneapolis, MN smoking things and eating pizza with mushrooms while listening to Dr. John's - "Right Place Wrong Time album".  I remember I had a wedding to film saturday morning and I had to leave my house in Hastings MN by about noon so when I was capable I went home early that morning to crank out a song. The result was "RITUAL" made with BARS & PIPES Professional & and AMIGA 4000 with a STUDIO16 AD516 stereo audio card with my Roland U-20 keyboard as the controller.  I remember banging my open hands one after the other on the "TOM DRUM" sample to make it sound like a bunch of people drumming at the same time. I swear I was in a trance when I made this song also again when I matched the music up 20 years later to this non-scored piece of the awesome film "BARAKA".
 
ULTRABRA- I know there was some added synth and percussion sounds to the raw footage of this scene before I got to it, I guess I should state by music was "added" to the soundtrack of "BARAKA" but now with this upload of my original song - "RITUAL" people will have a btter idea of what I mean.  I'm sorry if the www.soundtraxxmusic.com labels offend people in this forum so much, it's my baby. I would have to re-edit the video and re-upload it to youtube and then make new links in this message to get rid of it but from now on atleast in the CakeWalk forumns I am going to try to keep that link off of my posts.

Very good Shawn. This sounds like great stuff for movies and presentations and if you edited the later more dramatic stuff out it could be used as relaxation music also. To further improve the song you could fix the a bit abrupt ending. It kind of ends a second too soon, before the last notes have ended.
