Maybe the one you're thinking of is BIAS RepliQ. Timing and pricing sounds about right for that one. Unfortunately, they went out of business and the plugins are no longer available (that I know of). I remember talk of it being pretty quick and easy for good results, which I found not always the case in Ozone (But I haven't used it extensively, and I've only tried it in version 4. Maybe 5 works better).
As others have mentioned,
Voxengo CurveEQ has this function and is reasonably priced. I haven't personally used it, but it seems to generally get a lot of praise.
Another one that I've heard mentioned a lot is
Pro Audio DSP DSM V2. This might have a little more feature-wise than what you're looking for, but still worth checking out depending on your situation.
