Hi folks im just new to the forum and new to sonar after years of working with cubase and im looking for a bit of help with a problem i have in x1 Producer i want to be able to comp several layers of audio together , i want to know how i can slip edit the end of a layer and the front of the adjacent layer at the same time so they snap together like you can do with the crop tool if you hover over the 2 layers in sonar 4 exactly how its done in this video around 1 minute into it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsp_fM5Eiew im probably missing something here , but any help at all would be much appreciated Thanks
Yes, that's possible, but the finding the right spot to make the tool appear is difficult. You can have to zoom in very closely and then position your mouse at the very end of one of the clips so you see the blue crop indicator. Then move your mouse vertically until it gets to the exact corner of where the clips adjoin. There you will see the cursor change to the double crop tool and be able to slip-edit both clips at the same time.
