I haven't used my Akai MPD24 for awhile since I upgraded to X2. Not sure if this is an X2 problem or MPD24 problem though. I'm using the MPD24 to create some patterns with VSTs (getting the same problem with EZDrummer, Battery 3 and SD3). While triggering the drums from the MPD24, the sounds starts fading out and eventually just cut off. I can see that the VST is still getting the MIDI signal because the meters trigger, but, there is no sound. Every track and VST that I trigger the MPD with eventually shuts down the same way. I have to restart X2 to get things to work again. Is anyone else using the MDP24 and experiencing anything similar or have any ideas how to troubleshoot this? I don't recall having this problem in X1. Please help!! Ira.

I don't have the MPD24 and this is just a suggestion. 

I had a quick look at the manual and there is a Global Mode kill midi / reset all setting you can try if it works instead of restarting X2.

If it does, some setting in the MPD must be triggering the cut off.

Thanks for your response.  I believe you are correct.  I did a quickie test before leaving home this morning.  In Global Mode I did a controller reset and things started working again.   

I'll have to do more testing later.   Thanks for your help.
