I got my folder with user accounts (administrator, standard user) on another partition. I am able to register and run Sonar 7 using my administrator account. However I can not run Sonar as a standard user. It says I have to register the product, but I already did that using my admin account. Anyone know how to solve this?

Did you right click the shortcut and select Run As Administrator?

yeah of course, that is not the problem. It runs under admin, but it does not run under standard user account.

I guess I don't understand how you are set up. Each boot partition should have an Administrator ID.

on one partition the OS and the program folder. On the other partition the folder with all user accounts.

Used a program called Profile Relocator. Trinitech Blog contains a tutorial how to do it (it is easy btw).

I try to keep it simple. That's why my computer and Sonar work well. Good luck with that.

this is how it is: - when i log in with my account with standard rights and run SONAR it won't work - when i log in with my account (say account XYZ) with admin rights and run SONAR it won't work - when i log in with my account with standard rights and run SONAR with run as admin account XYZ it surprisingly works.
