I was recording with a pipe organ at my church which is slightly under pitch. Can V Vocal be "tuned" to something other than 440? Since every pitch is slightly under, V Vocal often makes mistakes and corrects to an entirely different lower pitch. I don't want to correct the vocals up to 440, but to match the pitch of the organ, probably around 435. I know I could adjust each note by hand, but isn't there an overall setting? thanks d'2

Well if you know how many cents sharp or flat the song is tuned to ... You should be able to adjust notes sharp or flat by that many cents easily... So it really shouldn't matter .... 


Unless all you do is hit auto correct ....which isn't ideal in my opinion .. if all you do is hit auto correct ... Then I believe the answer to your question is no

All my V-Vocal work is done manually, I never touch auto correct

You can hit Ctrl-A to select all and drag everything up or down at the same time in V-vocal.

The only problem you'll run in to is how well V-vocal detects the pitch variations. It may not be able to detect every spot that's out of tune, so when you make your global adjustment, some notes may be left out.

There is a free Auto-Pitch correction VST put out by Melda that I've been using instead of V-vocal. You can adjust the sensitivity of it and how fast the pitch corrections happen. It's a great little plug for free.

V-vocal is geared more toward precision correction of small clips rather than a whole track like you are trying to do.
