What type of drum loop files are best for downloading? Did a R.A.W. pak from sonic reality. came as a wav file. got it into sonar. project open. see the loop that I want. cant do a thing with it.  double click left,  right click, drag...nothing works. so bummed.

Make sure you have an audio track to put it in.

If it's a WAV file you need to make it into a Groove Clip if you want to use it like an Acid loop. Right click the WAV file, select Groove Clip looping. Then edges of the clip should now be rounded indicating they are Groove Clips.

right click has no effect.  double left click has no effect.  cant grab it to drag it to an audio midi or studio drum track

wav are audio files, left-click and drag to an audio track. If that does not work for the Sonic Reality R.A.W stuff can you drag any audio loop into the project?

yes i can. groove monk, smart loops , sonic stuff that came with x1Le all play. and can play them with windows media player without sonar being open.  the files that play say they are midi seq (mid) files. ( under "properties")  the files that wont say they are media player (.zip) files ( under "properties") but when i click to play loops with media player says it doesnt support the file type. both file types say they open with windows media player.

A zip file is a collection of files, right-click on the zip file and extract the files.

+1
You have to extract the WAV files from the zip file before you can use them.
