I posted this once before, but it is getting so bad that I want to check again to see if anyone else is having a similar issue.
 
In the middle of a session, Copy and Paste will suddenly stop working.  Sometimes, only the shortcut keys (CTRL+X, CTRL+C, and CTRL+V) stop working, but more often, the menu commands also stop working.  I have to shut down everything and restart.
 
The Sweetwater tech says I should try using a different interface because the V-Studio I/O unti may be causing the issue.  He is an excellent technician, but, on the other hand, he just wants to try a different interface because he doesn't know what else could be wrong and wants to eliminate that.  I am hesitant as I am trying to finish an album.
 
Anyone have any ideas about this?

Not sure if this is the same thing, but I have noticed that sometimes I can't get copy and paste to work if I am working in a project and playing it back, then stop the playback using the pause button (instead of the stop button) on the transport.  I then have to hit play and then stop before I can get the editing to work right.

Hmm, I do not intentionally hit the pause button, but I may me at times.  That is a very interesting theory and certainly worth investigation.  Thanks.
