i'm the ghost of you
and i know what you do
i know your every move
'cause i'm on it
i know what you think
i know your favorite drink
i know your favorite kink
'cause i'm on it
spectral finder keeper fees, a percentage of your nectar
cut and pasted alibis
cataracted in your eyes
colder than a midnight sun
never seen by any any anyone
welcome to your stupid face
the one you had on yesterday
the one that never goes away
like leprosy and/or genital herpy herpes
you're the death of me
you are my one disease
and i'm your effigy
don't you even think
that you'll have time to blink
that you'll have time to think
i'm the ghost of you oh....
i know what you think
i know your favorite drink
i know your favorite kink
'cause i'm on it
vivisectioned monkey head trip mirror-image death trip tease
why are you here???
why are you here???
why are you here???
why are you here???

I didn't like it a first, I thought we were veering towards metal, second only to hip-hop in my pantheon of hates.  But then it stoped veering toward familiar metal troupes and sounded more like late Crimson.  I would have liked a detail of time signatures, I started to try and count but I got lost.  Counting without a metronome is something I struggle with, although I'm odd time signature king.  Very inventive, some great production ideas going on.

sweet- I love Robert Fripp actually one of my heroes! ya love heavy but 4 me it needs to be melodic and have some sort of musical backbone :) / the odd time sigs are neat/ bit tricky- George did awesome on drums pulling it off esp w/ no click track (just his stick clicks in intro measures…we wanted old school 'organic time' lol) I had a lot of demands ;p -

(1) the verses alternate 5/4-6/4 every other measure so it counts "one-two-three-four-five | one-two-three-four-five-six | one-two-three-four-five | one-two-three-four-FIVE-SIX" last two being accented w/ those Pagey chords etc…

(2) the lofi vocal delay parts are 2/4 Kashmir-ish stomp but the downbeat phase shifts half a measure on turnaround so the second pass the down beat is shifted over "2" beats not on snare drop etc...

(3) the 'why are you here?" bridges are 5/4-5/4-5/4-6/4 "one-two-three-four-five | one-two-three-four-five | one-two-three-four-five | one-two-three-four-FIVE-SIX"

Maybe not the kind of thing to play during afternoon tea at the rest home :).... I am loving those alternating beats and those harmonies coupled with the guitars...the combination is perfect. I think this song could really go far.
I know it's around halloween and all that... Kind of fits the season I suppose. Great song!!

Wow - you are so talented - unbelievable. You always amaze me - you put out some of the most creative music. To me this is very reminiscent of Alice in Chains - vocals sound a lot like them.
This is killer.

Well done man. Love the way the "why are you here" part builds. Very nice. Great interplay between the right and left channel. Still has that ethereal quality that I love. Nice job.
