5 new instruments: B3, Rhodes, Synclavier, Modelled Piano, Farfisa Organ

MiniV with a major sound update as well

Yep, I have all but the Synclavier pretty well covered already. And I have Monark and Minimonsta as alternate Mini Moog emulations.
The Demo download is going painfully slow!

I don't need the new instruments but would love the re-sizable gui (but not for $199).

Do they have a lifetime core upgrade option so I can just get the new GUIs? ;)

While the download and installation of the demo on my internet PC is churning away I checked the Arturia Software Centre on my DAW. There is a new item under V Collection 4 - Analog Lab 2 (at least I have never seen it before). Eveything else is "Up to date" I was vainly hoping to find updates with the new GIU.

Definitely check your online Arturia account.  You can update individual instruments to the new GUI versions for $9.99 a piece.  If you have quite a few of them, I think you can update them to the new GUI's for some flat fee as well.

Whoa! - If you already have V4
This could have a real bearing if you are thinking of upgrading. I installed Analog Lab 2 and it has presets from all the new instruments. Of course you don't get the full tweakable interface but there is still the ability to tweak and edit the sounds with a more limited range of parameters, for the piano and Rhodes it probably enough.

I have fired up the demo and I really like the new GIU. The Modular V was a pig to work with previously, now its fine, you can see where you are moving the patch cords etc. Likewise the ARP 2600. All benefit form the larger, clearer graphics.

Looks like if you bought the collection you can't elect to update individual instruments. I have two options - Upgrade in my account. Upgrade to the full V5 for 199 (dollars or Euros - I am in the EU and the Euro price includes VAT), or just upgrade the instruments in V4 for 99. This is valid until 1st July.

Nice find thank you! Looks like $99 upgrades all the instruments from v4. Tempting! :)

Interesting.  I only have the Prophet V and Analog Lab.  Analog Lab got a free upgrade and it's $9.99 to upgrade Prophet to the new version.  I hope it gets rid of those painful animations as you switch between the different versions of Prophet (old, VS, and hybrid)

At the Audiodeluxe in-cart price of 168, I am going to seriously consider this, although I have no disposable $$$ at the moment, but what the hey. I do like the V-Collection 4 a lot, and I only paid $69 bucks for it a while back during their big promo.  So it still looks pretty promising, even though I probably don't "need" it.  But of course, when did that really have to do with anything?
I did not know about the update to Analog Lab, so I'm going to download that, at least, for the new GUI, etc.
If anyone purchases the V and likes the new instruments, please post.
