Glyn , i do think that the kept the ratios , so they imposed themselves a limitation that is just stupid imho , i had big hopes seeing what are they on ipad .... Big , clear with several pages , it even simplify the process , now a mini v exactly like it it just 2 time bigger (limiter because of it horizontal dimension with a useless keyboard also ) : why ?

Glyn can confirm that when you install , you have 2 dll the old v2 and the new ones (v3) or does it replace ancient one (witch would be great !!

Interestingly, I've noticed that Spark 2 is not included in the 17 software titles included in version 5.  Luckily, I had version 4 and it can be installed from there.  Great update and additions.  Just interesting Spark 2 is not in the new version as far as I can tell.  I've gone through and looked at what's in there carefully and I don't see any signs of it.  Spark 2 was one of the reasons I was pulled into ver 4 when Arturia had their recent fire sale.

And they seem to have lost the FX section. Also, some weird GUI changes, not always good.

I installed the demo on a second computer so I cant confirm the existing version 4 synths are not overwritten. But when you install Analog Lab 2 the original remains.

Fleer, are you sure the FX are missing and not just on a separate page? I am away for a couple of days so I cant check.

Interesting that Spark is not included, I had not noticed as its the one thing I never use. I am not much into electronic drums, but I cant make head or tale of it anyway.

Definitely check your online Arturia account.  You can update individual instruments to the new GUI versions for $9.99 a piece.  If you have quite a few of them, I think you can update them to the new GUI's for some flat fee as well.

I just tried this and it did not work.  They took my money but no download, no nothing so the $9.99 update thing does not seem to be working right now.  I advise against doing it at this point.  I have contacted them so we will wait and see what happens.  I will report back once I know.

No way to customise the install for the ressources , only fir the dll and stanalone and unistaller

I tried to modify the instal path in registery in local machine , arturia and repoint a new place , but plugins launches with missing data error ....

If anybody can help to move thoses gb away from C , i will appreciate !!!

Quote from Audiofanzine.com:
"the five new included models are also available separately at a MSRP of €199 each."

If you fancy the 5 additions and the scalable GUI, then upgrading for 250 euro's a good price.
No reviews yet from the magazines I read though (sound on sound / computer music / music tech)
