I'm late in stumbling across this issue (wanted to try out K-Stereo and was stopped dead in my tracks, so to speak).  This thread does give me some hope (and thanks for that) but I'm not spending another dime with UAD until I decide to go x64 and feel confident that other Sonar users are experiencing smooth sailing.  And I've spent many dimes on UAD up to this point.

BTW my system is Win7 x64, Sonar 8.5.2 32bit, UAD2 Quad.

Audio Damage once blamed Sonar (and my Logitech mouse!?) on the various issues I was having with their products - even claiming Sonar is not "native VST" (I started a thread on that here and it didn't gain much traction).  Anyway, I have since stopped doing business with them.  I will find it a bid harder to go cold turkey with UAD.  I'm still feeling a bit sick about all this...

Sorry if I veered off topic, just needed to rant a bit.  I'm stuck at 6.3.0 (maybe forever) and bummed about it.......

I've been all x64 for the last couple of months and everything is working as expected. Nice to be able to use my UAD plug-ins in a 64bit DAW app like SONAR without a bridge. I also have the 32bit versions installed to use with  the Harrison Mixbus as it is 32bit only. You just can't have the same SONAR version (goes for any DAW host) scanning and using both 32bit & 64bit UAD versions or you will have issues. It is either 32bit or 64bit per DAW host.

Win7 x64 (SP1)
SONAR X2a x64
UAD 6.4
Apollo QUAD (FW800)
QUAD PCIe
SOLO PCIe
