Thanks all,

I have installed both the A and B X1 updates and I am running the latest 64bit version of  SD2 and also installed the 32bit as well.

I did get it work with the Jbridge demo last night and went ahead and purchased it but the email address I had it sent to wont let me download it, so I am waiting to hear back from the Jbridge guy ( Joao I think )
and have him send it to my gmail address which will hopefully work.

If you have the latest version of Superior Drummer (64 bit) then you don't need to run it through jBridge or BitBridge. It needs to be run as Administrator.

EDIT: Here is another thread on getting EZ and Superior working in 64 bit. This is a different link than I posted earlier.

Well  now SD2 and EZDrummer are  working fine with Jbridge installed.
So I guess since its working I wont mess with it. Joao from Jbridge has been very helpful and
quick with the replies, a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks everybody

Good news !!!

But I don't understand why you need jBridge for SD and EZ ???

The point is for SD 64bit version in Sonar 64 bits it will work out of the box. For EZ Drummer, you simply download the upgrades from the Toontracks website.

Cheers,
Jerry

I think I know what is going on. At least on my system, if the x86 plug is installed it trumps the x64 .dll. Try moving the x86 .dlls to a folder on your desktop (just in case) and then see if it rescans the x64 versions. It's always best to run native and both SD and EZD have worked very very well in all versions of x1 for me.

Superior Drummer is working without any problems here.

If the problem is a 64bit issue, this should be clear in the thread title.
The first post hasn't even named any system specifications.

This kind of thread is simply misleading until someone guesses possible reasons.

User error.

It works fine in 64 bit, if you install it correctly, upgrade to the 64 bit versions and all should be fine.

Another thing to check if you have Superior Drummer 2 x64 is the VST scan path in your preferences.

If SONAR X1 x64 knows that a 64 bit version of Superior Drummer 2 exists, it will always load the 64 bit version.

If you run the 32 bit version (bridged), I don't think you will get your optimum RAM usage when you load up some of the larger SDX kits.

I just went through this! Also was having issues with Waves9. I spent the last 3 days trying everything. Here's what i learned. (PS: I got everything to work great!) PC Info: i7 Chip PC , 64bit computer, 8gigs RAM 1. Superior Drummer 2.0 will be jerky if you don't use the installer file that matches your Sonar 8.0 or X1 bit rate (32bit or 64bit). So make sure they are the same. (Note: I installed X1 64bit, and Superior Drummer 2.0 64bit. It worked, but I ended running into problems where X1 would crash on close. I deleted everything from my computer, started fresh (deleted registry files too H_Key Stuff ect.) and re-installed 32bit versions of X1 and Superior. WORKS MINT! 2. WAVES9 Issues: I kept getting those annoying "can't find WavesLib files" errors. I re-installed Waves9 a bunch of times. I just ended up copying and pasting .dll files to locations in my folders that matched a different working computer that I have. I re-installed a few times using 2 different installer files I had. Made sure i pointed the VST Folder scanner to all the right places, and it finally worked! 3. In X1 64bit version, (0)'s would show up next to my Waves PlugIns on the drop down menu. Not anymore in 32bit! (Even tho I'm on a 64 bit computer OS) Hope this helps anyone looking for answers. I ripped my hair out trying to make this stuff work. PS: If you're having Audio Problems when it plays back, make sure your Audio driver is set to the propper kind ASIO, WMD or whatever. My Aurora Lynx sounded terrible until I changed it to ASIO in the Audio Driver section. Rock on!
