I have downloaded additional groove monkey loops and sonic reality loops.  They wont play for me to preview.  cant drag them into a track.  right click on the loop gives me nothing ( file type, size, ect..)  suggestions? SONAR X1 LE.

If you see file type, size, etc, I'm guessing you're doing it outside of Sonar (using Windows Folder)  ? That also explain why you can't drag them into a track also. If yes, try to preview them inside the Sonar using the Sonar Browser (press 'B') if you don't see them on the right pane - and click on Media tab to locate the loops.

I could have learned to play drums in the amount of time I have put in trying to solve this!!!
