OK, John - Looks like another Sonar glitch. I was going by what's in 8.5 and X1. X2 is probably never going to be on this computer. Sorry to hear this is messed up!

Thanks for looking in rbowser. You know I'm not a newbie - I do know what I'm doing here ;-)

The annoying thing is that this issue with the handles has been around since at least X1 (as can be seen in this thread) - and now, not only is it not fixed - there is a new added dimension to it! ;-)

I do like SONAR - but things like this just make me despair ;-)

Still, it's nice to have the guys in the forum to help out - because Cakewalk support is going nowhere. I don't even bother filing those defect reports because when they eventually get back to you, the problem has either evolved, or you've moved on - and probably discovered new problems ;-)

I only discovered this because I have a bass line with somw pitch bends going down. I don't normally do this - so I haven't come across it before. Then I also got a new slide guitar for Kontakt - and that is going to use a lot of pitch bend info - hence my newfound interest in this ;-)

Well, John, I'm sorry to see that there are problems like this with X2. This is the first time I've been on the Forum for over a year. I'm still using 8.5, still feel Cakewalk destroyed what they had going starting with the disastrous first release of X1.-- Sorry to see the Forum text formatting is still not compatible with Firefox. Bummed in general over what happened with good ol' Cakewalk.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the forum sucks too. I set Firefox to automatically throw me into IE when I go to this forum

Hey, John - clever, Firefox moving you to IE when you go here. I didn't know that was possible. If I get inspired to start coming here again, I'll look that up, thanks.

It's an add-on. I forgot what it's called (I'm on the iPad) - just query IE in the add ons you'll find it ;-)

EDIT - the addon is called "IE View". You can set certain urls to always launch IE. It's good for these forums.
