Hi - little confused here.

You inserted a tempo change at what point in the song?  The beginning?  Middle?

Please elaborate a bit on the tracks/clips in the project, and how you changed the tempo.

Thanks,

Are you inserting a tempo change at the beginning, or changing the tempo in the control bar?

Have a look at the tempo view (Views menu, tempo ( or alt+shift+5)).

Are you talking about Audio or Midi?

One is easy

The other one is a PITA

You have another tempo change programmed.

Go to View>Tempos

tempo view will pop up.  you will see a grid and on the right a list of all the tempo changes. You can edit all your tempos  (tempi?) there.

as others have mentioned, if it is just midi...no problems.

@Jimbo 88

"You can edit all your tempos  (tempi?) there."

Perhaps tempae, tempoes, Tampa, or tampon?

What I need is 2 different things:
1) For example, I´m working on a project which is 135, and I think it´s too slow, I want 145, so how can I change the whole track tempo? I have both midi and audio recordings.

2) Another example: I´m working on a project with tempo 130 and I want chorus part to be 145. how to select the chorus and change the tempo?

THANK YOU!!

This is a pain but doable.
  1. Insert now time to start of project
  2. Select Project-->Insert Tempo Change
  3. Make sure "Change the most recent tempo" is selected and set tempo.
  4. Open tempo view (Alt+Shift+5) and delete any other tempos other than the project start.
  5. To change the audio to fit see this video - in fact it goes through the whole process from start to finish albeit in a slightly different way.

2) Another example: I´m working on a project with tempo 130 and I want chorus part to be 145. how to select the chorus and change the tempo?

This one is a little harder as you'll need to split audio clips, bounce them down and then repeat most of the above but on a section rather than the whole thing. This time though you'll be inserting a new tempo at the Chorus start in step 3 instead of changing the most recent one.

THANK YOU!!

You're welcome.

Thanks for that Karl,

ive been waiting for an answer for what seems like forever from support re the same problem, which is the second time running they have failed to reply at all, you clearly know far more than they know about their own product.

It is a pain in the rear - but sometimes calling tech support is better than waiting for a response via email.  That's the regrettable reality.  I know that is difficult, calling from the UK and all.

But the folks in the forum are collectively pretty good - so please jump in and post questions and problems and such, and you will most often find good assistance here (unless folks wake up crabby).
