The other day I was having trouble sending a PM too. It could be due to anything. I wonder if maybe CW is doing something to the forum software. Could it be they are upgrading?

It has been national news that the AWS servers were under aggressive attack the past week.

It's easy enough to collect data about how many people are using what browser. Your browser is identified by every site you visit. 

To me, this is conclusive proof that either McQ or John is correct
 
 

 

 
 

Per Cakewalk's own support, they did mention that they are aware of the need to upgrade and still plan to do so, but they also mentioned that this particular forum was customized a bit outside the respective frame-work of APPlayground, and thus needs a bit more work to upgrade it. 

Until then, you may just do what I did and download Opera browser and just get by. It's not a great workaround, but man, it makes posts much easier to illustrate or provide procedural recommendations and such to other users.
