Hi folks,

I'm trying to use Sonar with just my control surface as much as i can. I have the Zoom R16 which I use for transport and levels etc. I use keyboard shortcuts too, but just to open skylight windows: D/Dock, I/Inspector and the rest, as well as the preferences shortcuts. On the R16, above the transport the are five buttons which I think are assignable, but when I looked at the surface settings, I could only find ways to control/assign panning and levels etc. 

Is the a way to assign the keyboard shortcuts for Dock, Browser etc to these five buttons on control surface button, or any others that you choose?

I was also wondering if it was possible to assign the R16 scrub wheel things, to control the pan of a highlighted track? I guess that would be unlikely though...

One way is using ACT. Set it up as an ACT controller and then assign functions/commands to buttons via the options page. There's a video on my youtube page on ACT surface setup.
