Using the scroll box to move from section to section, the image stutters and partially breaks up and usually the scroll box springs back to where I started as if on a rubber band. Very frustrating and time comsuming.

Picture Cache is cleared regularly, I'm not running any other progs or CP sapping add ons.
The PC is dedicated music not connected to internet.

I don't know about a "scroll box". Perhaps you have pressed the pause key on your keyboard? 

It's the little square box under the track view where you click on it and drag it left or right to move your sequence view or now marker. Not been able to find its name . Right click and you have option to move left or right page.
Has the pause key on my keyboard some effect on track view ?

I just need to know if it's an inherent problem with Sonar or, as I suspect , some graphic problem with my PC
