Situation:

Pasted in a groove from EZDrummer and used the smart tool to extend it for a verse.  My plan all along was to edit it and change it around.

I have been doing a lot of edits but suddenly in one bar Sonar says I can't edit the note because it is part of a group clip and that I need to unloop it to edit.

I have no idea how to do this.

Thoughts?

ctrl L loops and unloops I think. Right click to select ungroup.

Select the clip and choose Clips > Bounce To Clip from the Track view menu. If you convert it back to a regular clip from a Groove clip, you'll lose all the repetitions.

Thanks, both.

Oddly, i was getting this error when trying to edit a note I had added with the pen tool in the Staff View--although the clip did originally come from a looped groove.
