ProChannel Concrete Limiter BUG!
*The status of your problem report has updated to "Submitted to Development"

Loading a saved "Pro-Channel"-Preset with ProChannel Concrete Limiter included make the AUDIO completed cancel out?
You will not hear any audio until you "BYPASS" the Concrete Limiter-plugin. If you save and reload the project it will work "normal" again-sending audio thru the Concrete Limiter.

The BUG continue to happen again when you re-LOAD a Preset with the ProChannel Concrete Limiter included on the same track and sometimes other tracks. The BUG will are reproduceble always.

During this bug you can see that the Concrete Limiter-"GR-Meter" are always MAXED out-24db.
The setting I use in the Concrete Limiter are:

"AUTO"=    Off
"Release"= 1ms (Minimum)
"BASS"=   ON
"Thresh"=  -6 to -10
"Ceiling"=  -0.0  (Max up)

Can you all please Check if you can reproduce this BUG.

1. Make a new "Preset" on "BUS" with only -"ProChannel Concrete Limiter"- activated.
2. Use following settings

"AUTO"= Off
"Release"= 1ms (Minimum)
"BASS"= ON
"Thresh"= -6 to -10
"Ceiling"= -0.0 (Max up)

3. Save the "Preset"
4. Load the "Preset" on track that has audio or something else going through
5. You can hear audio & ProChannel Concrete Limiter"- activated.
6. Now, load a second time the same "Preset" again on the same track!
7. NOW the BUG is there. All AUDIO are completed cancel out? During this bug you can see that the Concrete Limiter-"GR-Meter" are always MAXED out-24db.

The Maillard Reaction

This sort of stuff must drive the Cakewalk Studio owners mad with envy.

Good catch Freddie.

Hi Freddie, do you have any other details about your project? i.e. what kind of tracks and what else besides CCL is in your PC preset (and maybe the order and what's active)? Just curious because I haven't run into this and can't reproduce it, so I'm guessing there's something more to it than just loading a saved PC preset with CCL in it.

I succumbed to this and the PC4KCC today............

Loving them both so far. Can't reproduce that here so far. What steps did you put in the bug report?

Okay and Thanks all for the help!

Yes, I first notice the bug on one of the BUS channel that I use for one of my LEAD vocals.

Okay Here is my Track-BUS-route for Vocal Lead that i used the -"ProChannel Concrete Limiter"- .

1. -"FXs bin"-. "PRE"-mode  -"Nomad Factory Desser plugin"-
2. Then it goes to Pro-Channel -"The PC4K S-Type Expander / Gate Module"- GATE MODE
3. Then after that it goes to -"ProChannel Concrete Limiter"- ( I wanted to use that instead of Teletronix LA-2A-Limiter)
4. The it goes into Pro Channel "PURE EQ" & "GLOSS"-Activated & LOW CUT 60hz
5. After that it goes into -"Pro Channel 1176"- in use of parallel compression.
6. The "BUS-Output" are then later routed to an other BUS-track with more internal and external processing...

The new update didn't help! I still have the same issue?

I made a new preset with only the -"ProChannel Concrete Limiter"- .  nothing else in it's audio path. No luck I still get the same BUG?

Okay, I was able to get it to happen, but it seems to be a little complicated. If you open an existing project or start a new project (with or without the CCL in PC) and then load a PC preset with the CCL, it works okay. If you open an existing project with the CCL in PC or start a new project and insert CCL in PC, then you *save (or resave) the project* and then you load a PC preset with CCL, you get the problem you describe. So something is getting messed up if a project that already has CCL in it is saved before you load in your PC preset. Or something like that. :-) I'll have to do some more testing.

Great and many thanks!
I hope other people can confirm this too.
