Im trying to install X1 on a Win 8 system. At the end of the install attempte I get a error:
c:\ProgramFiles\Cakewalk\Shared Services\APRO.d11
 "unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0x3.

I tried to hit the ignore button but, it keeps repeating the error message.

Anybody run into this one?

Usually indicates a permissions issue, were you running the installer as administrator?

good point......now if I can figure how to run as admin or how to figure out if I am admin. Win 8 has been a challenge from a learning curve perspective.
Time to Google it.

Just right click the icon and select Run As Administrator. If you are the only person using your computer, you're the Administrator.
