Hi, I have a problem in choosing an audio preview bus: I created a new bus in which I want to preview audio (samples). I select that bus in the media menu as the preview bus. But the previewed audio always plays thru my master bus. I select any other bus as the preview bus, but the preview only plays in the master bus. Can anyone duplicate this issue? You need to change the BUS manually in the Browser section!

Yes. As I said, I do select a bus, manually, in the Media menu (which is in the browser), where you select the preview bus. The problem is that the audio is not going to that bus. It goes to the main output instead of the selected bus.

I had exactly the same issue recently. I created a new bus called Preview and  selected it in the mediamenue. The loops would only play through the masterbus no matter which bus I selected.
Somehow it fixed itself , I think while playing the loop and the project at the same time. I can't really recall exactly. Never had this happening before.
May be a bug...
Anyway it works fine at the moment.
Sorry I can't offer you a solution, only confirm the issue. Anyone else maybe?

Hi Noisy, thanks, so I am not th only one with this problem. I found that exiting Sonar and restarting it solves the problem.

I had this problem as well.
Exiting X1 and restarting sorted it for me.
I then made and saved a new project template with a preview bus added,
restarted X1 and all was fine [to date]
Not sure if it was a bug or not.

Everyday I keep stumbling upon new things in X1D [Good]
Today when I closed down X1, my screenshot 9 [PRV only] 
was in View - of Course when re opening that project screenshot 9 was first up,
and my 16th note grid was still in view, and had not reset Itself to something else....Lol...

I have been having this problem for a while.  Anyone found another fix for this other than creating a project template... or is this an ongoing bug
