Hey,

I'm trying to install TruePianos to use within X2 as a VSTi.

I am able to install the program, but only the Amber appears.

I have downloaded the latest engine and modules and installed them all.

Perhaps I am not installing them in the right location.

I installed them to Program Files > Cakewalk > Vstplugins

This is where I have all of my other VST's installed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi Dave.

I only use the stock TP that comes with Producer, it's not the right time to go with my begging bowl asking for "more", so I'm not sure what's involved with the other modules in terms of installation.

But assuming there's an .exe involved somewhere, have you right clicked it and clicked "Run As Administrator"?

This has caught a huge number of people out with other parts of Sonar, Dim Pro & Rapture are 2 that spring to mind.

Hi Dave,

Did you purchase the upgrade to the full version? If so, your user area will have installation files for all of the pianos (i.e. Emerald, Diamond, Atlantis, etc.). They all install themselves in the correct location. If you didn't purchase the upgrade, Sonar only comes with Amber.

I love TruePianos. All of the models are very useful.

Hope this helps!

That's all that comes with Sonar for free. To get the others, you have to upgrade True Pianos.

Hi all,

Thanks for chiming in.

Yes, I upgraded to add the 4 additional modules a few years ago.

I downloaded the latest version of everything last night and installed them (I thought) but only the amber module is appearing.

I haven't tried that Admin trick.  Might be worth a shot.

If anyone else is using the additional modules and you can tell me where they are installed on your systems I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Yay!  That did it!

All modules are installed and ready to go...

Thanks!
