Hello I am using Sonar X1 Producer 64 bit

When I insert a new effect to an audio track, the effect editing window does not show up. I tried double clicking the effect in the F/X pane (which usually worked in the past) but now it doesnt make the effect window show up. The effects work but i cant tweek them and customize them.

Before the problem occured, i was working with a compressor and I moved the window down towards the bottom of the screen and then it docked itself there.. i tried to grab the window to move it again but it wouldnt move.. then i saw an option to "Dock Top", "Dock Bottom" and "UnDock" i clicked "UnDock" and then it just vanshed!!

I tried minimizing everything, collasping everything and still cant find it.
I tried to select another effect to see if it'll show up but it didnt either.
I even reverted the screenset setting but it didnt work!!!!!

IM IN A MIDDLE OF A SESSION AND THIS IS BECOMING FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to the left of your time line in the track view, go to the drop down menu just above the first track, and select what you want to see, hope this helps...........

This also happened to me once in X2a when I undocked the Console view - it just vanished as well. I looked and looked for it. I finally had to close Sonar, restart it, load up another song and then it was fine again. I wish I had an answer for you, but that's never happened to me before.

Do you use multiple displays? Perhaps they went to the other display. Hit Windows-P and select PC Screen only.

try changing your display resolution temporarily, then immediately revert. seems to reset some windows buffers...

I've had the same problem with Sonitus Delay for a while now - will appreciate if a solution surfaces.

Hey staxx,
Strange you don't see them at all when opening first time. Like you, I've had some plugs hide from me behind the main Sonar window.  Are you sure the plugin UIs are not somehow minimized to a very small window to say the bottom left of your main display when you first open them?  Easily overlooked hiding in the main display.  When you look for them by minimizing/collapsing the main Sonar UI, everything associated with Sonar not standalone disappears in the collapsed window.  Helps me to send plugin UIs to multidock where you can keep 'tabs' on them. (Sorry, too good to pass up.)
Unless I'm missing some info, I've also found that plugins can't be moved out of multidock by simple click/drag like they can be moved in, but by right click/select dropdown menu on each tab or edit/undo.  If I'm wrong on that part, anyone feel free to correct my erroneous self.
Best,
HeyDan
