x2a....After many crashes with  plug-in's ie v-vocal I have uninstalled x2 fully restarted and now re loading x2, half way through loading , I get detele error 5 " an error occurred while trying ti replave the existing file - access is denied"  -  prog files\cakewalk\vstplug\vintage_channel\ vc64.dll"  have tried retry,  no good. ignore( not recommended) or abort?. 

Firstly do a full scandisk of your hard drive (always a good idea periodically anyway).
Then run Windows update.
Then reboot, move file to another folder using Windows explorer, reboot again, have another go at installing.
If that does not work temporarily disable your virus scanner.

Generally this is down to file locking via a virus scanner (some folders need to be excluded from virus scanning), corrupted file permissions or corrupted hard drive structure. Also Windows itself may be playing up (some issues can be fixed by patching Windows via update method).

Typically, crashes have to do with hardware or driver issues. To me, reinstalling Sonar is not the first thing to do to remediate the problem. You should first run a memory test, disk test, and a FULL antivirus scan. Then go from there. What are your computer specs, soundcard, and version of Windows?
