I am using Addictive Drums with X1. Say I have a MIDI pattern dragged into my project, in this case I have several different patterns or "clips" on the same track. I am familiar with how to tweak the drum sounds and effects etc. in ADrums however, if I decide later that I want to edit the patterns in any way (eq / effects) within ADrums do I have to re-drag every little clip back in to the project? In other words once the piece is dragged out of ADrums can I edit it with ADrums? or do I have to start over? BTW this question is valid for session drummer as well Thanks

You're better off just editing the clips within Sonar itself. Once you drag a MIDI clip into Sonar from an instrument like AD's, it's part of Sonar and not AD's.

Is there a way to "tie" the clips together? Say I want to eq the clips that make up the chorus, but there are three choruses. Hope that makes sense

You don't EQ the individual clips, you EQ the audio track to which they are related.

But to combine all of the clips into one long contiguous clip, just select them all, right click any one of them and select Bounce TO Clip

I don't know about Adrums but session drummer has a mixer where you can do basic tweaking of each drum part. Then as said by Jonesy bounce to clip or audio and then mess around some more, no need to worry about pesky little clips.
