Huh. Very interesting feedback Guitarpima. I'm glad you seem to like it more than you didn't like it. :-) Not being able to watch the video, that's something I have never really thought about... The music does exist on its own on my
Echoes In The Dark album though. And like some of us were discussing up above, for the genre I'm working in, which is more of a hybrid of electronica, ambient and film score, the music isn't really the kind of thing that's meant to drive into a typical pop formula or anything. As a matter of fact I've had some situations where I'm asked to make music that does LESS than what this track does... So it's all a matter of what the music needs t be. But it sounds like for the most part you were digging it! :-)
On a side note, I've got a trio of interactive music videos on my website
http://www.bydavidrosen.com. They're for other tracks off the same album, and basically are a serious of different colors and effects that react to your mouse movements and clicks, with some pre-designed transitions that go to the music. You might want to check them out in the VIDEOS section of my site. They don't have the dramatic content / story of "If Only Tonight I Could Sleep" obviously, but they're pretty cool and if you have trouble following films / video because of your vision, they may still be potentially enjoyable.
