Don't have Netflix, but do have the Blu-ray.
 
Even if Metallica is not your thing, and he is not your idea of a great bassist, you gotta give a big shout-out to Robert Trujillo!

Yeah, I'm not into metal, but it just goes to show that real musicians respect good musicianship regardless of genre. Even Jaco talks about being in a Country and Western band for a year...saying he had a blast.
I'm glad this was made. It certainly cleared up a few things for me. It's sad to see a genius musician fall so far, and never have the chance to rebound from it. Jaco...more than just a great bass player.
(I have a few of those Joni Mitchell albums on original vinyl. Shadows and Light is one of my favorites, and the first time I was exposed to Jaco and Metheny.)

i bought this when it was first released on dvd...
 
i met jaco, back in '82.
it was a very cool time,
he was quite lucid,
and actually jammed with us on stage, to loverboy's 'turn me loose'.
