I messaged support about licencing for AD . If you bought Sonar with this bundled a few years ago your license is good to transfer to any other DAW if the inevitable happened.

It is not tied up with Sonar licensing. I thought this would be the case just just needed to verify. After all its just another VST plugin .I'm sure this should be the case for other 3rd party pluginsupplies that came bundled with Sonar.

I found this out by accident.  In responding to an Addictive Drums Black Friday ad, I tried to order a drum pack I had already purchased through Cakewalk.  When I hit "Buy", I got a warning that the drum pack I was attempting to purchase was already in my Addictive Drums 'purchases', and was re-directed to my repository and offered my serial numbers.  I thought that was pretty classy!

Good!  That was one of my worries.
