Not sure how long Input Quantizization has been a feature in Cake products, but I recently discovered it (among many another things) from viewing the SWA Sonar X2 tutorial video.  Now I'm wishing I'd knew about it a long time ago.  It certainly speeds things up!

Do you have preferred Input Quantization settings that you generally default too?

Perhaps it varies based on the midi instrument you are using.

Thanks.

I "discovered" this feature the other day myself (I knew it was there but didn't know how to access it). I'm pretty sure the best way to set it is depending on what you are doing. For example if you are plugging a bassline that mostly falls onto 1/4 notes or whatever keep the quantize resolution set to a larger note value whereas if you are doing an intricate melody or something set it so the shorter notes land where they are supposed to.

Slow run = longer note setting

Fast runs = shorter note setting

Any fancy settings will probably just screw things up.
