Well, I don't have SC on this computer, so I can't check that right away.
I'll do that when I play with my music computer later...

The solution is in the imported MIDI file, when I make some notes with my mouse in the PRV i get a bounce with sound.

Did you try copying only the notes of the imported MIDI in PRV and pasting them on a new MIDI track?
It might be worth trying but don't ask me why :o) :o) !
You can copy them either by lassooing or clicking the respective piano keys on the left one after another with Shift pressed. I think that if you copy them with Ctrl+A /Ctrl+C the result is the same as clicking the clip in track pane, which proved unsuccessful.

@ Greg what is the patch in the SC mixer window? I did everything you said I think but also no playback on the soft synth so also silent bounce
I made a little video, no sound.
Import MIDI, insert soft synth (Sound Center).
Select Type, Subtype and double-click the Program.
Select MIDI track and synth track while holding down the computer keyboard's Ctrl key.
Edit>Bounce, then File>Export. Of course, you don't have to bounce to export. I could just as easily exported the synth track audio directly to my Audio Files folder.
Hope it works. I've never done the video thing and I don't know if you have to have a Photobucket account to see it. It's free, though.
