How to remove a vst that I just tried, I mean, I loaded the synth, didnt like the sound so I opened another one.
Next time I open my project the old synth I didnt like its still there in my project (not in the track section, but sonar x1 loads it as if im still using it...)

Delete it from the synth rack.

Highlight the synth by clicking once on it in the synth rack, then click on the X up at the top of the synth rack, and it will delete the synth from the rack.

you can also right click the track header and use Replace Synth.

If you just delete the synth you will still have the tracks left behind.  If you delete a synth for which you created a simple isntrument track, deleting the synth will split the track into two (MIDI and audio).  No big deal, but I usually delete the track before I delete the synth in the synth rack so I don't have clean-up later.

If you delete a synth it asks you if you want to delete all associated tracks also. The pain to me is not the tracks left behind but the track folders which don't get deleted that you have to get rid of.

The problem here would be what would happen to any other tracks in the same folder but not associated with the synth you're deleting. You wouldn't want them deleting would you?
