I just wanted to type it up to see if I remembered how to do it. It's kind of cool and there are so many other neat control's in that module I figured OP might enjoy checking it out. I hope I didn't screw it up. lol

Don't be hard on yourself, man. This stuff is tricky. Just undo what you've done (Ctrl + Z) until it reverts back to it's original state and try again. Good luck.

Here's the Event Inspector vid I was talking about:

He starts of doing audio clip adjustments but later on in the vid gets to MIDI changes and shows how to do exactly what you are attempting using the Event Inspector Module. It is well worth watching. Cheers.

It's a huge program. I'm currently reading every darned page of the manual and I have a feeling even after that's done I'm still gonna be a beginner. lol

Are you on X2? If so you should have gotten the Groove 3 free pass in your account. Might want to check out those vids. They're supposed to be quite good. Cheers.

btw, it looks like you only have to click once on the left keyboard note to select all in a row in X2. I think it used to need a double click at some point, but maybe not. Anyway, one less click at least in X2.

Yep, it's one click on the PRV keyboard.

Thanks for posting the video link, Beepster! I was just about to do it myself.

No no, Mr. Garrigus. Thank you. That video taught me stuff I was completely unaware of. Very well executed and extremely useful.

Cheers!

Just for the record, if you have a lot of notes, just select the whole track in track view.  The go to Select | Select by Filter and select C3 (if that's the kick note).  Then Process | Transpose +2.

Or select the whole track, go to Process | Find/Change and change all the C3s to D3s.  Adjust the values if those are not your kick and snare notes.
